Cosmos 3D brings 3D construction to Chile in partnership with Edifica3D

Cosmos 3D continues to consolidate its leadership in construction innovation with its official arrival in Chile. The company has reached a strategic agreement to appoint Edifica3D—represented by Francisco Badía—as its Master Reseller in the country, alongside architect Pedro Caparrós.

This appointment goes far beyond a conventional commercial collaboration: it represents the highest tier within Cosmos 3D‘s international distribution network, granting its partners the mission to develop, implement, and expand all of the company’s technology in the Chilean market. The agreement, forged alongside Rubén García, lays the groundwork for jointly driving industrialized construction and large-scale 3D concrete printing in the region.

Concepción: The epicenter of the first Cosmos machine in Chile

One of the most significant milestones of this alliance is the upcoming installation of the first Cosmos 3D machine in the city of Concepción.

The selected model is a Cosmos Y15, configured with a large print area and specifically designed for the industrialized manufacturing of precast concrete elements. This unit will not only provide direct production capacity in the country, but will also serve as a technological platform for developing new projects and solutions tailored to the standards and needs of the Chilean market.

In parallel, the technical teams from Cosmos and Edifica3D are already working on adapting specific materials, using the advanced COSMOSCRETE formulation developed by Cosmos Brasil as a baseline. The goal is to provide a comprehensive ecosystem encompassing machinery, software, certified materials, training, and ongoing technical support.

Training and knowledge transfer

To ensure the success of the project, the Chilean team has already begun an intensive training process directly with Cosmos Brasil. This knowledge transfer reinforces international coordination and ensures that Edifica3D plays a leading role not only in equipment sales, but also in building a robust 3D construction ecosystem in Chile.
