| 24 - 26 March 2026 | Hall: 8 - Stand: 8F681 | IFEMA (Madrid) The Modular Shelters for Stray Cats developed by Cosmos 3D are an innovative solution designed to address the constant growth of urban cat colonies. These shelters offer safety, comfort, and harmony with the surroundings, blending naturally into parks, gardens, and community spaces.
Urban cat colonies are growing every year, but there is a shortage of suitable spaces for their care. This project was conceived as a responsible architectural solution: a place where cats can rest, socialize, and stay healthy, while fostering a respectful relationship between the community and the animals.
The design is inspired by the serene silhouette of a reclining cat, a gesture that blends art and functionality and becomes a symbol of refuge and identity. It is not just a container: it is an urban sculpture that enriches parks, community gardens, and plazas, creating a space for gathering and socializing.
Key features:
The structure is based on a modular system of 3D-printed concrete with a double layer of thermal insulation, ensuring strength, durability, and comfort in any season. In addition, our A, C, and Food modules feature industrial designs registered with the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office.
The flexibility of the modular system allows for the creation of different configurations tailored to the needs of each cat colony.
The 3D construction technology for precast concrete, developed by Cosmos 3D, enables:
This modular solution minimizes environmental impact and promotes sustainability, creating an infrastructure with a long service life and low maintenance requirements.
